The universal consensus may be that Piers Morgan is the likely successor to the irreplaceable Larry King. IrishCentral’s comment in that regard, parts with Larry Kings universal acceptance when it reported on July 25, 2010, “Larry King is mercifully being put to pasture at CNN.” The report added that “Piers Morgan, proud to be Irish, will take Larry’s place.” However, Larry King is gracefully retiring and the ethos and logos of his successor is tatamount to CNN's tribute to his years of service.
Hunter Walker of TheWrap.Com, was magnanimous in his July 30, report regarding Larry’s successor. Reportedly, Jeff Gaspin, NBC Universal Television Entertainment chairman, “confirmed that Piers Morgan will be going to CNN.” “Morgan’s `America’s Got Talent’ contract was the last obstacle standing in the way between Morgan and a deal to replace Larry King at CNN.” Gaspin further noted that “We have relaxed his exclusivity and allowed him to talk to CNN.” It appears that NBC will share Piers Morgan with CNN.
